Exhibition Opening: Catherine Hammond Gallery at Skibbereen Arts Festival 2018

As part of the annual Skibbereen Arts Festival 2018, gallerist, curator and art consultant, Catherine Hammond launched a series of exhibitions including ELEMENTS: West Cork Landscapes featuring work by 30 artists.

Donagh Carey submitted two oil paintings for inclusion in ELEMENTS: West Cork Landscape. Pat’s Homeplace is the imagined homeplace of Donagh’s great uncle Patrick somewhere around Lough Hyne. Raheen Castle depicts the ruin of a castle tower near Castletownshend in the West Cork landscape.
